Population Pyramids

After cutting the chocolate cake, we reviewed everything we've learned on the previous slides. This all lead up to population pyramids. We use population pyramids to analyze growth (or decline) of fertility, mortality and migration in cities. It was crazy to see how generations affect the amount of people per age group. When we looked at the pyramids, we can tell in which years the baby boomer took place because of how much higher the population was in that age group. It's also crazy to see how 80 or more year old females occupy double the amount of the country than 80 year old men do.
